Rutland Reminders is a local group of dedicated volunteers - we formed in 2010 for people with dementia and their carers, meeting monthly to sing well-loved songs and chat. July Session at Oakham
On 19th July we used the theme ‘Holidays’ to entertain our twelve Guests with dementia, their Carers and our Volunteers. For our poetry interlude we read ‘Albert and the Lion’ by Marriott Edgar, an old favourite.
Our Seventh AGM
Our Seventh AGM took place on Tuesday, 28th June, 2016 at 1545 at Brambles, Rutland Care Village, LE15 6RP. Our Trainer, Jill Perry, spoke to bring us up to speed on recent developments in Dementia Care.
